Gary Oldman and Ed Harris to Voice in Black Ops

Hollywood stars Gary Oldman and Ed Harris are lending their vocal talents to the upcoming Call of Duty, publisher Activision has revealed.

Oldman will be reprising his role as Viktor Reznov from Call of Duty: World at War. Oldman's film credits include Sid & Nancy, The Professional and The Dark Knight, among many more like Bram Stoker's Dracula and The Fifth Element.

Joining him will be Ed Harris, who will be voicing CIA operative Jason Hudson, one of the game's lead protagonists. Harris has appeared in films like The Right Stuff, The Abyss and Apollo 13. He also starred in George Romero's Knightriders, a movie about jousting on motorcycles.

Scribe David S. Goyer — who has screenplay credits on Blade, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight — is signed on to do script consultation and aid in story development. Goyer penned the upcoming Superman flick, The Man of Steel, and is working on the third Batman film from Christopher Nolan.

"Oldman, Harris and Goyer are considered some of Hollywood's finest talents and they perfectly complement Call of Duty: Black Ops' ambitious and immersive single player experience," Studio Head of Treyarch Mark Lamia said in an official release. "Their contributions have helped us to push the boundaries of our story telling and character development far beyond anything we have ever attempted before in the franchise."

It shows that there has always been big names. Maybe these names are moreso? Inflation? I dont know. We've discussed it before with MW2 and in the end it was still $60.

Well the names have certainly gotten bigger in my opinion. I'm not saying they weren't big originally, but I think some of the names that are in the latest ones (plus I know there are more that aren't mentioned) are bigger.
