During a showing at Comic-Con 2010, Capcom announced all new fighters to its growing lineup. Street Fighter vs. Tekken was just revealed, but the details are scarce.
As you can see from the picture taken by G4, it looks as though the game will be made available on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
What is known is that there will be a Street Fighter vs. Tekken game handled by Capcom that will be a 2D fighter. Another game, Tekken vs. Street Fighter, which "may or may not be in 2D" will be handled by the Tekken developers, Namco. Yes, two games with the same premise handled by two different developers in one crazy mash-up.
While the planning for the game began a year ago, don't expect to see the games released any time soon.
