jumped in for a few rounds....wow it is terrible....

it feels like I'm playing a game that "might" have been good 4 years ago.... thats assuming all the bugs and horrible connectivity are fixed.

Is EA serious?

100ish..all the servers seem to be in Europe. Also, the hit detection seems to be more noticeable at longer ranges.

I thought the Valley map was well made and better than over half of the Bad Company 2 maps. The street map was bullsh#t, it felt ripped from some crappy Call of Duty map and didn't feel like medal of honor at all. Hit detection actually wasn't bad. Rockets and grenades suck. Percs are lame and don't feel original.
The whole game feels like it was ripped from MW2 100% not just inspired, and MW2 does a better job. This unfortunately makes Medal of honor neither unique nor stand out and also makes the game play feel extremely outdated.

I was hoping for a multiplayer that felt like Medal of Honor, that resembled the singleplayer trailer in terms of atmosphere and gameplay, but all I got was Call of Duty.

I tend to agree with you. As well, for a game that is supposed to be accurate, I am disappointed with the full auto M16 and the fact that the bolt action snipers take to non-headshots to kill.

Seriously?

I thought the AK's ridiculously low recoil and static bolt was bad enough in the beta gameplay videos.

I'd like some city maps and more M4/M16 variants in BC2 if they were done properly, but that should be a cheap expansion pack at the most.

As for COD/MW gameplay, if I wanted that I'd just play them. BC2 separates itself nicely with open maps, vehicles, squads and rewards for teamwork.

Most of the value in the game seems to be it's singleplayer campaign which I don't buy games for anyway. The multiplayer appears to be kind of like a nerfed BC2.

There's no recoil because it's a console game. Recoil is dialed down on consoles because thumbsticks are useless.

Recoil will be available as Day 1 DLC, but DICE is so nice that they will give it out for free.
