G-Snake, you know its all about the revenue each release generates for EA.They could care less if DICE releases a cup of day old coffee as an expansion pack, as long as they get people to buy it.

So DICE said that they would not charge for DLC...

Solution: Expansion pack!!!

(assuming they charge for it...hopefully not)

DICE always stated they would have free AND PAID DLC, where do people keep getting this impression???

Wow, well this is a massive load of fail. Good job for turning DICE into a dirty, dirty whore EA, we REALLY appreciate it. Hey, anyone remember some of these?

- "We're planning on releasing more maps and maybe even introducing a new theatre for Battlefield 1943, seeing as how our fans ONCE AGAIN made it one of the best/fastest selling titles for XBLA"....oh wait, that never happened (and likely never will). I'm willing to bet PC gamers will see Duke Nukem forever before they see Battlefield 1943 on PC.

- "You don't need dedicated servers, instead we're going to focus on providing DLC content updates FREE for gamers, we'll be constantly updating the game with new 'maps' and modes"....oh wait, they just re-hash the SAME MAPS and then insert them into different game modes.

I've been a DICE fan since the beginning, but DICE is far from where it was.

Sad, because today is the 5th year anniversary of my BF2 account, which I still play 3-5 times a week, whereas Bad Company 2 gets almost no playtime. Don't worry guys, DICE will bounce back with a new Battlefield title that will restore the glory days...I think it's called Medal of Honor or something (well, at least the multiplayer portion anyway). DICE hasn't even managed to EVER get it's netcode right, sometimes I think it's worse in BC2 than it is in BF2.

Thanks again DICE for screwing your customers hard up the backside with no lube.

All the complaining aside, THIS expansion pack is MOSTLY for the people who long to hear these words again:

whats the complaining about? heres a quick list why:

- Dice said they dont want to split the community with paid maps nor expansions, yet this happens - fail 1
- Dice releases bc2 as a broken game, full of bugs, repetitive textures, graphical issues. - fail 2
- Dice thinks map packs are already existing maps with changed gamemodes - epic fail 1
- no Bf3 at e3 - epic fail 2
- Vietnam Expansion pack which contains 4 maps, and reskinned models?sounds more like a booster pack - epic fail 3
- there hasnt been one single ****in new map for bc2 since release. epic fail 4

Were is the bf2142 promised patch . where is bf1943 for pc. where is the new patch and onslaught for pc. where is the patch that will remove the lag that this last patch gave my game

I don't care how you dress it up, 4 maps is not an expansion. It's a little quickly put together booster pack that they are trying to fog us off with buying.

As for finish 1943, why? They can make a 43 expansion pack and it will be the game everyone is waiting for, which I dont get since its a small 3 map game that everyone complained about and now its the next thing to BF3.

Speaking of BF3, its not going to be like BF2. Everyone wanted BC2 because everyone convinced themselves it was going to be like BF2 and it wasnt. I dont think BF3 is going to be either.
