Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Map Pack #3 is LIVE

This just in from the BF Blog:

VIP PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 players can now grab Nelson Bay is enhanced with Squad Deathmatch mode and Laguna Alta is enhanced with Squad Rush mode from the in game store. While you are in the store you can also take a look at what is lined up with Map Pack #4. Don't forget to head over to the Official Battlefield forums to discuss the new maps once you have given them a try.



The map pack is available with the VIP code which is included in every new copy of Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Players that do not have a code can purchase one via the in-game store.



Xbox 360 owners can also download the optional multiplayer update which will be prompted for the next time you go into Multiplayer. Once you have downloaded the update you will need to restart Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for it to take affect.



PC players will have the maps available after the release of the next update without the need for a VIP code.

I really dont care about these dam maps packs and when the consoles get them. WHEN are we getting the patch?

Give us a new maps, not same maps with a diffrent stile of play. You can dress a horse in diffrent gear, but it's still the same old horse. Game is getting boring fast.

There unfortunately is no info on map pack 4 in the store on the Ps3 ...

pc players are the ones that got this franchise going. and yet we still haven't even tasted bf1943... and our bc2 patch is over a month delayed.

Never gonna happen consoles will always get updates 1st .. simply because every console has the same spec hardware , unlike pc's there are just to many variables involved (different GFX drivers, cpu's, memory issues , etc ). In my experience with the PC side of patches they ALWAYS break something that was ok before the patch then you have to wait another 3-4 weeks for them fix a fix that was ok in the 1st place.
