The rumor mill is starting to churn on what the official reveal name will be for Microsoft's motion sensing technology currently code-named "Project Natal." Nowgamer has heard from "close sources to Microsoft" that Project Natal will officially be called "Wave."
In continued rumored news, Edge is reporting that the price for Wave will be set at $149 (USD) when it launches later this year. Their source, the same one who correctly forecast the Gears of War 3 details prior to the game's official announcement, states that Wave will be sold separately for $149 or bundled with the Xbox Live Arcade unit for $299 total.
Microsoft has made no official statement on either of these rumors. We'll just have to wait until E3 rolls around in a couple of short weeks.
Other recent rumours have suggested prices and release dates for the camera-based motion control system.
'Wave' certainly seems to fit the peripheral's demographic - especially considering the 'Move' branding for PlayStation's motion control rival. What do you think; will we all be playing Xbox Wave games come Christmas?
