SPECACT kits emerge on PlayStation 3

This just in from the BF Blog:

The SPECACT kits have arrived on PlayStation 3. If you are in Europe and you start up Battlefield: Bad Company 2 you will be notified of update 1.02 being available. Download it and head over to the in game store to see the SPECACT kits. The update and kits are also coming to North America in the very near future.

Recruited strictly from other high-level Special Operations units such as Delta Force and Spetsnaz, the Special Activities groups – SPECACT - are the elite of the elite, used mainly for covert operations and other high-risk missions in areas where conventional troops cannot be used.

With the 4 kit specific unique uniforms and the camouflaged SPECACT personal M16A2, UMP-45, MG3 and a gun metal black M95 SNIPER you have a visual edge on the Battlefield, showing that you’re a force to be reckoned with. The upgrade bundle pack also includes 12 new awards and 4 Trophies. Each individual kit upgrade will open 1 trophy and 4 new awards.

The kits are available individually or as a bundle for all 4 kits for the following cost:

    Kit Upgrade (individual kits)
    $2,00
    £1,19
    €1,49

    Kit Upgrade Bundle Pack
    $5,50
    £3,99
    €4,99

Update 1.02 also includes fixes for 2 crashes to XMB which some may have encountered when creating Private Matches.

These kits are not available as part of the Dr Pepper promotion in North America on PlayStation 3.

Can't wait for people to forget to switch their textures out on a snow map using these DLC ones, they might as well be wearing Christmas lights too.

So when MW2 brings out maps everyone is all flaming but when you need to pay for camo's its fine?

Any who, I will see if it is worth it.

If EVERYONE else buys camo and you don't, you can still play just the same as before.
Paid map packs split the community, people who buy them and people who don't can't play together the same way anymore.
