Microsoft Giving 7 Days of Xbox Live Gold For Purchasing MW2 DLC

Several readers sent us tips this morning indicating that Microsoft gifted them seven additional days of Xbox Live Gold for purchasing the Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package on day one. Julian sent us a picture, however, so Julian wins.
What does Julian win? Well, credit, for one, along with the seven days' worth of Xbox Live Gold, which Microsoft should be taking care of by May 1st. Microsoft's gift is apparently all about loyalty and thanking you for the purchase, having nothing to do with the Stimulus Package's launch hairball.
"To thank you for your loyalty to Xbox LIVE and for buying the Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus package on day 1, we will extend your Gold membership for 7 more days of adrenaline-pumping action with your friends on LIVE. Your account will be updated by May 1."
One would have thought free avatar night vision goggles were enough!
It was just a few days ago where I started hearing about the issues with the DLC for Modern Warfare 2. Any of our console players who purchased the DLC have any issues? What did you experience?
