Official Xbox 360 USB Flash Drives Will Run You $40, $70

As part of an upcoming (rumored) hardware update to the Xbox 360, Microsoft is planning to add support for USB flash drives as another means of storage on the system. Prices have potentially been revealed today for two sizes of flash drives when purchased from GameStop.

The 8GB officially licensed model will run you $39.99 (USD). Meanwhile, the 16GB model will run you $69.90.

Both models are expected to ship on April 6, 2010. These USB thumb drives are part of a possible hardware revision to the Xbox 360 that may result in a "slim" model of the system coming soon. Nothing has been confirmed yet on this hardware revision.
