Platinum Games, the developer behind Bayonetta and MadWorld, used last night's episode of GameTrailers TV as an opportunity to announce their newest game, Vanquish. Check out the first trailer:

From the trailer I would say that would be a great movie, but not quite sure for a game. 1: The suit resembles too much like the one used in the Halo series. This will not sit kindly with Halo fans and casual gamers alike. 2: No gameplay footage was shown so cant assume anything yet.

The CG was very impressive, I agree. Reminds me of District 9.
