Bad Company 2 Single Player Video

Jockyitch, from bashandslash.com posted up this video and link to some clips of the single player campaign brought from the French website jeuxvideopc.com.

The video has very strong language and graphical (bloody) content. Also, may give away some mission information.

I only watched it partially, but it reminds me a lot of the SP from COD4. Thats not a bad thing, COD had great SP until MW2.
Graphically it looks fine, but I can see this is taken from the Xbox. I wonder if we will see a significant improvement on a PC with DX10 or DX11?

:laugh: Thats very smart thinking. Stock up so you dont have to leave. May want to get some vitamin D also.

Battlefield is not known for its SP, but I am looking forward to trying this out as well. I still want to know what happened to the gold

Nice gfx, best sound ever, nice fast-paced action.

One can slide after running ? I saw one of the teammates do that.

The A.I. were basic, they pretty much stood in one place - but the player hopefully was on Novice level ?

anyone notice that the waterfall just randomly starts flowing? right at the start.

also when the AI fires a grenade at the building, it does nothing, yet the players grenade blows half the building up.

I prefer multiplayer, but this definitely looks awesome. Anyone know if you can play this with friends (id est co-op mode)?

Ok, one thing I have never liked about the Battlefield series and something I have to hand to Call of Duty is the guns aspect. I don't know what it is, the aspect ratio maybe or what but DICE have this funny idea that when you hold a gun you hold it up on your shoulder and down the side of your head. All the assault rifles especially look like they are taped to the side of your head.

Another thing is scopes have always been WAY too high. They make the weapon look silly and top heavy. If the weapons were shown in the way CoD does I would have nothing bad to say.

But other than that it's all looking fantastic. I've never heard sound quality like it.

It's a victim of the heavy lodding process consoles have to go through. Chances are you'll see less of it in the PC version, depending on your graphics settings of course.

10 points to sound department! Really rich and deep sound. This game looks really promising to me. I like that screen is so minimalistic, not too much information, looks more realistic.
