A new video is out showing a new game mode, Squad Rush:

You know I always was a big fan of the CoD small arms physics. BF2 was great (minus the commander) but it's infantry combat mechanics were lagging behind the industry. If they can button that up (the last bf2 patch helped a bit) then it would be the thing that puts it over the top. I love flying bombers and cruising subs in the pacific, but when i jump out I want to feel like my gun matters and my shots are accurate.

And yes - the game mode is a mirror of CoD. Among the many relative drawbacks of CoD is the spawn location system.

To me, 4 vs. 4 isn't necessarily classic BF combat, but as long as its a supplement I don't mind.

I say give me hardware and assets and let me call it a battlefield - not a firefight.

Gotta admit I was pretty surprised about that as well but there's still a week until the PC beta, they'll have another video out until then.

Yes, Yes Owe my YES!

Bad Company 2 is going to wipe the floor with MW2.

BF2 was great for vehicle gameplay, but cod was great for intense infantry combat so it was a war between the two games, but now...owe my now! We have it rolled into one, IW eat your false creator hearts out!

I find these 2 squad modes uninspired. I think they could've done a lot better than a deathmatch and a condensed version of an already existing game mode.

I believe I will stick with conquest as well, it is nice they are giving options for the people that want it though. Better to have it and not play it, then want to play it and not have it.

Lets just remember that this isnt BF3. This is a sequel to a console game, let's be happy that we get it!
