What are your thoughts on the map? I personally like the sounds of the weapons but is it a bit too quiet? The dust and grit effects seem like a nice touch. The verbal communication is a nice touch and makes me wonder if that is automated or something you have to activate.

Well, there was a silencer attached. :p

Verbal communication may very well be automated for convenience, though it wouldn't make sense in stealth situations.

It is most likely automatic like it is in BC1. That is infact how you'll sometimes know enemies are around, like maybe in a nearby building a floor above you; you'll hear them spotting/talking about reloading.

Unless of course they've reverted to the BF2/2142 rose compass for spotting/sending messages.

We'll have to wait and see. :)

EDIT: It isn't quite so automatic anymore. You have to manually spot(press select button for consoles), then hold your cursor over the enemy to keep them highlighted for the rest of your team, otherwise it disappears after 3 seconds or so. Also when somebody kills what you spotted, you get like team assist points.

ive always screamed to bring back the taunt BFV system(eg u have a choice of messages to speak) but Dice wont ever give me what i want in a game lol

I too want the taunts from BFV, those were funny. Most of them what I "said" and what the victim heard were two separate things. Quite funny and added character to BFV.

Cool video though. I may miss the jets though. But maybe there will be less Remfing going on, waiting for aircraft and the like.

Again, I do not like the way they move. People call Cod "arcade" that is how i few BF, it is just to strange for me.
But it looks great and I am liking it. The movement is only a small factor.

there's something about the audio i dig in the indoor sequence. it seems to do a good job amplifying based on proximity with some sort of reverb effect.

i wonder if the game will have an X-Fi mode like previous like BF2/2142. i just hope they figured out the static/crackling issues X-Fi has on the older games.
