The Blackmonkeys.de , the developers of the Star Wars-like, total conversion mod, "Galactic Warfare", for CoD4 are looking for someone to provide taunt voice-overs.
Taunts are audio binds used in-game to harass and demoralize the enemy. For the Galactic Warfare mod, taunts will be specifically suited for the genre and thus the Blackmonkeys can't use the ones that came stock with CoD4. So here's what they're thinking...why not have a contest and the winner gets a chance to have their taunts added to the GW mod! <!--more-->
Tatooine Trash Talk Contest
RULES
If you have:
*a decent microphone
*a good voice and you are over 18
Email me at jockyitch@gmail.com (address the email: "Blackmonkeys contest").Send us (preferably) an .mp3 file* with the following taunts:
1. Aren't you a little short for a Stormtrooper?
2. Way to go there, Jar-Jar.
3. You stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy-looking nerf-herder!
*Alternatively, send a .zip'ped .wav file.
The contest ends on the 29th of November.
The winner will be selected by a panel of judges from the mod's developer: the Blackmonkeys.
If the judges pick your entry, your voice will be featured in the Galactic Warfare Mod. Good luck nerf-herders!
