This crap happened to me. AND, I just bought the game 1 hour after I got my account hacked. Now I gotta buy a new game for $60, like geeze. Infinty Ward should put MW2 for PC as $5 because of this like seriously. It's like buying a game and then giving it to someone. I blame Infinity Ward and Activision for choosing Steam, and then it's Steam to blame for their stupid 'secruity'. I was signing up and it said, "Jump into great action while playing your favourite games with Steam!" and "Steam introduces the best and fastest gameplay for you, no lagging! And when you sign up, you're secured!" I was watching the 2nd quote and thought, "Wow, thats crap if they think that."
Stupid spammers.

As irritated as I am at many of IW's decisions regarding this game, this one isn't on them or even Steam really. You're the one who chose to log in to the fake site.

Blaming Steam or IW is like blaming your bank because you gave your debit card and PIN to a stranger.

i asked for the group admins to kick the guys who are sending the phishing messages so that we don't get more victims but to no avail... more guys are gonna get hacked but it could be prevented.
