Infinity Ward Could Create Spin-Off of Modern Warfare 2 Starring Ghost

A story has shown up on That Video Game Blog suggesting that the character Ghost may be getting his own video game. Craig Fairbrass, the voice actor behind Ghost, is the one who made mention of this.

“I did in the last game a voice for a character called Gaz and in this game I’m now voicing a guy called Ghost, who now just got a spin-off comic of his own and they’re talking about another little game to go with it,” Fairbrass said at the event (video’s on Live), “so, I’m quite excited about it. It’s grown and grown and grown.”

One wonders if this will truely take off.

This is quite bad. First they are going to say "Its just a small expansion, and it will not be full priced. A few months before release, they will say, "It is now a full game, worthy of $60". Then it will offer 2-3 hours of fun gameplay, later relegated to the shelf. This sounds exactly like a Halo 3 ODST repeat.

They will just charge $70 for it since they can and everybody buys their games anyway.

This would be great. I enjoyed Ghost much more than Gaz, and would love to see some more backstory
