I may pay for additional single player content - But it would really have to be worth it. I'll get bored with this game just in time for the release of BFBC2 and Storm of War: Battle of Britain.

Toad in a pot, if they over nickle and dime it to death then they run the risk of boiling the pot dry.

The extra $10 for the PC version was enough to get a lot of people to "jump out", the rest of us are stewing in our own juices.

      mmmm frog soup!

When Quake 1 was released you had to play on dedicated servers otherwise nobody would be able to play because listen servers were complete s***. The same can be said for anything else that run on the Quake series engines, Ureal series engines, Half-Life engine, Source engine, and every other game engine that a multiplayer FPS game is built on. Listen servers will always be crap until home computers and internet connections around the world are fast enough for everyone to have 0-50 ping with 32 players or more (depending on the type of game and map size.)
        .
Times change mate, We have two options: 1. Support it. 2. "boycott it" go play a console then.

Dedicated servers on consoles aren't exactly the easiest thing to accomplish.

But anyway, here's a way to stop Kotick.

          1. Buy Activision stock.
          2. Get the board of directors to vote his sorry *** out.

          Done.

Pay to play? I don't know about that....unless we were actually getting something (besides the game) out of this (such as massive games, maps, etc on company run servers), I would not pay just to play COD by itself. Stupid idea.
