BFBC is EA's answer to COD:MW. it's not the epic BF sandbox type game we're used to on PC. so don't expect it to be something it's clearly not. the game that will follow the tradition on PC will be BF3.

Well thats not what I meant, its their first serious attempt at taking the BF series to the consoles, and it proved pretty successful..

Things you should cross off your list right away.

- No prone (already confirmed)
- No Mod Support
- No public server files *dedicated server from GSP only.
- Narrow FOV, probably somewhere around 80 or so
- Server browser that's barely functional *good old Gamespy, or worse Games for Windows Live.

there is no guarentee that bf3 will be like that unless people start making a stand on EPIC over stupid gadgets.I dont expect it from BC but at the same time it does have the battlefield name

+bf 3 will be 5 years from bf2 and thats not really smart buisness or cool,its clear consoles have stolen our name ,i just wish we could have grand turismo on PC in return:evil:

Alot of BF vets dont want fancy gadgets and EA cool ideas,but just a simple BIGGER game with navy come back and heaps of vehicles.Oh and definately prone.I am one of these people who would rather a simple epic game that follows 1942s style:salute:,so i agree with Droneteks point of view:thumbsup:

not to sound like a newfag (which I am), but TBH, a naval battlefield doesnt quite work in a modern war setting. if BF3 is WW2, I think it would fit, but modern naval war is with BIG ships, ones that launch jets off of them. unless you include modern patrol boats, but thats over rivers and most likely threatened by land anyway.

Personally, I think it looks pretty cool, hopefully it will make pilots fly higher/mask terrain more and just hovering over peoples heads. One thing I see on most BF forums is the complaints of being raped by jets and choppers, I really hope weapons will balance this aspect, while still keeping the vehicle useful.

It'll be much more vehicle based than Pilotfield 2. Finally some tanking after a long break of 1942.

It has some weird thing at the end of the barrel, and it uses the short 20 round clip, that's why it looks big.
