Amazon Making Price Changes with Modern Warfare 2

With everything going on with the cancelled pre-orders, it seems Amazon has been making changes with Modern Warfare 2.

When Amazon first reported the pre-order of the game in the U.S. it was at $59.99 with a $10 Amazon card. When I checked yesterday, that card was $15. Today the card is $20.

What do you all think? Does this mean that many people are actually cancelling the pre-orders? Are there other sites lowering the price? Do you think this will change anyones mind or opinion? Can Amazon or IW buy your love? Is this just some discount Amazon happens to be doing?

Walmart raised the their price from $50 to $60, but also raise their gift care with the game from $10 to $20. Until the price of the game itself starts dropping from $60, I won't believe its through canceled pre-orders.

Sounds like Wal-mart is trying to play a shell game. They are good at doing that. You gotta watch them.

I heard that 80% of pre-orders were canceled. It was posted by someone somewhere on the IW forums.

HAHA! Seeing the 1 star rating and people's comments...makes me glad to see it. Sad that MW2 has gone this route, but glad b/c people are voicing their opinion and rightfully so.

Meh, I bought the game (pre-order) for $50 with the $10 gift card, no regrets, bought Batman Begins Blu-ray with that (was only $10 bucks). The credit towards future game (only) purchase is a bit silly, but you don't buy tax at Amazon as someone pointed out before. Amazon has don't the credit towards future purchases alot longer then Walmart, and its always been buy a movie for movie credit and music toward music credit.

LOL 80% canceleations is something to take into account.

Still not taking it back that most of this is hysteria and BS though. I wanna see what IW has before I judge them, instead of being a prejudice (pre-judging, or a preconceived belief)...what's another word for mule.

Amazon is selling it for £34.96 BEFORE first class postage.
But if you buy from GAME, then you get it for £34.99 with free postage first class.

So, it'll be like £38 for first class with Amazon.

I've bought it for the Singleplayer because i know the SP will be good. Like Batman: Arkham Asylum was good.If i like MP, I like it. If not, SP was still kick ***.
