EEDAR's analyst, Jesse Divnich, predicts that for the month of September over 400,000 PlayStation 3's were sold.
To compare, Divnich predicts that some 375,000 Nintendo Wii's were sold and just 370,000 Xbox 360's sold in the same period. The strong showing for the PlayStation 3 is more than likely attributed to the lower price point of just $300 (USD) and the re-launch with the PS3 Slim.
