I'm not sure if this is true or not...where is the original source Alex?

However, I could believe it due to all of the signs we've had such as no PC specific ads, no PC only news, Rudedog's interview at the community event, a general lack of even mentioning the PC, no special versions, they bow down for Xbox, etc etc.

All I know, is IF this is true, this game better have the dedicated server files good to go AT launch either on disk or via download day 1.

Well, Gamestop still says 11/10/09. Best Buy still says 11/10/09. Walmart still says 11/10/09. Target still says 11/10/09. Amazon still says 11/10/09. Newegg still says 11/10/09. IGN still says 11/10/09. Gamespot still says 11/10/09.

Like I said before, I don't believe the rumor.

From the email i received on friday last week:

Bekreftet levering(confirmed delivery): 23.11.09

On their site it still says lanch: 10.11.09, BUT 3 days before this "news" came out they changed their in stock date to 23.11.09, one day before the new release date.
Why did they do that?

Why did they do such a random and unlogical thing, if the werent told by the distributor that the game would come on that date?

Can some one please give me an answer... Is that date in American or EU format? Was it supposed to be out November or October? The date scribbled on is obviously EU.

I think one reason people are getting some heartburn over this is the arrogance from Activision/IW this whole time:

Raising the price compared to other games.
Pointing out that no demo/beta is needed. They'll sell just fine with the hype they've got already.
Snubbing the PC market with the collector's editions.
Complete lack of information on the PC version, as if we wouldn't notice.

If you're going to run around tooting your own horn, be prepared to catch hell when you screw up like this. Plenty of games have been released on PC later than on consoles. But they haven't CHARGED MORE FOR THE PRIVILEGE! :rawr

pc gaming isnt the priority like it used to be enymore. Ther is much more money to make on consols. Piracy plays a big role to this change.

Oh I agree 100% on all you posted. Its a stick in the eye to the PC community for sure if this is the case.

Going over the boycotte stuff and so on, it makes me wonder how many will really drop this game and how many will just buy it on Xbox/PS3 and then give IW false numbers to go by when they say, "See, PC numbers are too little and console is HUGE!" when in fact they caused the shift.

Of course, we will never know that.

Again though, nothing official from Activision/IW and I still support a push back if the game is not complete as news makes it seem its the case.

The thing is that its usually a shift and goes back and forth. If you shun one community, when its time for that shift to go back the other way, they will remember.

If its piracy, its huge on consoles as well.

So, is this a completely new concept game or simply CoD4 with more guns? I played CoD4 a bit but having the CQB maps makes it a bit boring.

If the console games got pushed back to, you would be right.
But they are not pushed back. So it clearly is a big deal to delay the one that gives the least revenue and will take sales from the consoles when released.

How many multiplatform games has been released on the PC first?
Just look at the PC-version of BF1943....oh thats right, you cant. Because Dice still havent made it for the PC!. They dont even have a release date for it. But BF:BC2 have a release date, atleast for the console versions.
