  • New 'Modern Warfare 2' trailer to kick off on 'NBC's Sunday Night Football'

Are you ready for some football? You may be after reading this article from USA Today:

Are you ready for some ... Warfare?

Blockbuster films like The Dark Knight have nothing on highly anticipated video games like The Beatles: Rock Band, which had multiple pre-release trailers (still available here), and the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. <!--more-->

Developer Infinity Ward and publisher Activision have a new trailer set to debut during this week 's NBC's Sunday Night Football broadcast of the game between the San Diego Chargers and Pittsburgh Steelers (8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT). The image at right is an exclusive still from the trailer.

The game's first full trailer was revealed during another sports event, the NBA Playoffs in May on TNT. This one, which will include all in-game footage, kicks off a multi-million dollar promotional campaign, the developer says.

Looks like a lot of news may be coming up. You think this may get the hype going or the natural closer deadline to game release?

If i remember correctly the first promo was botched by TNT and they cut it in half. Hopefully it wont happen again.

      Correct garandx.

Obviously, with the whole Pittsburg news for CoD, it only makes sense that SD is playing at Pittsburg for tonight's game. Well planned out IW, well planned out.
