Re: Battlefield 1943 Preorders
just goes to show you all they care about is getting the money first (and running off with it). there's been a lot of whining going on in the uk 1943 forums about things not being addressed and fixed by DICE. i don't want to support them by buying this game honestly. reminds me of the negligence that has been going on for BF2142 where there hasn't been any word of progress (since the announcement of patch in the works and screenshots of a new map nearly a year ago). this is while the game suffers from showstopping server crashes constantly. in fact, the whole DICE staff has gone silent about 2142 cutting all communications with the community. they sure produce new games like there's no tomorrow, but seems like they abandon it and move on to the next one right away. and look, if 2142 didn't have issues, i wouldn't say anything but the servers can't even stay online! i really don't like the pattern of lack of commitment DICE has been showing so i probably won't be supporting them for now, as far as 1943 is concerned. the way they are handling 2142 is very disappointing and i have a good feeling they will keep going about their business the same way. we'll see. :salute:Originally posted by BIFF EXPLODERi just find it weird they have a pre-order on the store and there is no release date or min specs.

Re: Battlefield 1943 Preorders
I think I'll pass. The Xbox version was buggy as all get out and got boring very quickly. Not to mention it annoys me that they pretend 32 players is a selling point. Someone needs to remind them that 32 players is going backwards.

Download ONLYOriginally posted by RanCorX2is this game only going to be a download or will there be a case with code release?
Your right in a way, They said intially it was only going to be a 24 player game, so 32 is an improvement, But unlike 1942/BF2 it is a step backwards!Originally posted by DronetekI think I'll pass.
