No it was a semi-automatic rifle, and it reminded me of a Gewehr semi-auto rifle.

Japanese sniper rifle in 1943 is a Kar98k ZF.. Which they never even used. The semi-auto rifle is a late-war copy of the M1 Garand, only 5 where produced and that was in 1945, in 1943 it's unlimited..

From the vids I've seen so far, there will be 3 types of of AT's you could choose from. Also grenade launchers, grenades, etc. Of course this is still not confirmed, but I hope we get more info on the class customization already.

Looks amazing, but rather heavy. I doubt how the new 5870 & the upcoming gt300 based cards will run it.

I think you will be surprised. Although the graphics are nice, i dont think you will need anything more than an average gaming computer to run it rather nicely.

of course it will run, xbox and ps3 are crap. the game will run smooth on max settings on a 295 gtx or 285 :salute:

Great video! I just can't get enough of it as I've been watching it with some nice headphones on that really let you hear everything going on. The audio is one of the best aspects of the Frostbite engine to me.

thanks man, i watched it too many times too, cant get enough of bf moments lol. And yup i too think then the best aspect of the frostbite engine is the audio and then the detail on the characters is amazing, then the draw distance, the weapon details and the accurate metal shaders.:thumbsup: the only thing i dont like are the shadows too much fickering and lack of ambient occlusion. hopefully these will be addressed in frostbite 2.0 and some realtime dof and object based motion blur would be welcome also

hmm, when i think about Battlefield moments, the first things that come to mind are:

"There is a problem with you connection"

or

"Your connection to the server has been lost"

in the heat of battle mostly. :laugh:
