As for the cheezy ads, I agree, but it could be like 2142. I dont mind seeing a blurb on the screen during load. At least it is static and not changing.
Hopefully, if they charge for PC, it doesnt split up the community like it did in Battlefield.
If they charge for DLC, it will fragment the community. Not everyone will be ready to spend money on maps when they can download custom maps for free. Unless they withhold mod tools and linux bins and ded server files, they won't sell PC map packs to the same percentage of people who buy the console versions.
What was that, the mod tools and linux bins and ded server files won't be available on release? And may or may not be released at some unspecified time in the future?
The only way to force PC gamers to buy DLC the way console players do is to make said DLC the only option for additional content. And sadly that might be their intent.
