CoD:WaW - PC Patch 1.6 Due Out Next Week!

The title says it all! JD_2020, Josh Olin (Treyarch's Community Manager) has said via his twitter that the PC patch 1.6 (which will include the third map pack) will be out sometime next week. Finally, PC gamers, we will get to experience another great, and free, map pack. I look forward to trying out the new zombies map Der Riese along with the other three great looking multiplayer maps.

One, we have to wait b/c they get a sponsor for the map pack so it's free for us. Two, they actually got an error in the patch and took the extra time to fix it instead of just pushing it out the door. Good for them imo.

Looks like it's on track to be released in the middle of this week. I take that to mean Thursday or Friday, hopefully.

All of the localized builds for various languages got the thumbs up. Steam is looking good. Mod Tools update is good to go. Linux server is now ready for QA. It includes some anticipated bug fixes. Barring unexpected issues we are on target to release around mid-week.
