Is it H1N1 or just influenza A? Or is it just believed to be H1N1? They can test for influenza in like 10-20min, but to test for H1N1 they have to send it to the state health department or something, which takes 2 weeks. Unless it's different in Washington, I'm in California.

In Georgia, they just give the samples to the CDC and it takes about 2 days, but more recently the CDC has come out and said to just assume that any positive Type A test is the result of H1N1. There isn't any difference in treatment and it expedites the process and saves money, plus, it keeps everyone safer.
