I always enjoyed 1.03 and 1.04 (one of those 2 introduced Wake 2009) everything after that went downhill in terms of problems (CTD, reload/missle lag and connection issues).

Anyone know the best way to install a fresh version of BF2 with this new patch? I have SF so will be installing that also.

Install BF2, then SF then patch up to 1.41

Huh. Really makes you think, yes, it could have been a much better game, and we whine and ***** about it, but we still got an above average FPS out of it, definetely in the top 4 or 5.

The ability to change squads while dead. This allowed a squad leader to leave and rejoin the squad when he died, giving squad leader status to someone who was still alive, and then spawning on that person.

I find it amusing that they ruined BF2 squads by removing this, but you now have the ability to spawn on any squad member in BF1943.

ahh squad jumping, you could make it very hard for the enemy to eliminate your squad if you jumped a lot and kept respawning behind enemy lines

I didn't mind it so much but understood why they got rid of it

They should have made the video focus on all the things that went WRONG with all the patches, would have been much more amusing.
