A couple weeks ago, Capcom's Dark Void Team announced on its blog that the ship date of the title would be moving but gave no exact date.
Well, today, Capcom announced Dark Void, the highly-anticipated sci-fi action/adventure game for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, will be ringing in the New Year by launching on January 12, 2010 in North America and January 15, 2010 in Europe.

July 31 - We've just announced that the release date for Dark Void is moving out a bit to the beginning of 2010. Why? To allow the development team more time to polish and enhance the game experience. So what does this delay in the game's release mean? An even better game for you!

So instead of rushing through development just to release Dark Void in the crowded fall game season, we have decided that it would be best to give it just a little bit more time to bake. Dark Void is set to make a big splash this week at GamesCom 2009 in Cologne, Germany where the game will be one of the highlights of the Capcom GamesCom line-up. A new exclusive demo will be available for Capcom’s European community at the show along with an outdoor skydiving booth and an impressive advertising campaign throughout Cologne .
