The Battlefield.com Blog has been updated with some info about DICE's presence at GamesCom 2009 in Cologne, Germany. They even hint at "releasing a new surprise" at the EA press conference. Check it out:
Gooooooood Morning Germany!
We've just received some intel that our booth at GamesCom has a live feed showing off the progress on the build and eventually the madness that is GameCom.
It is planned to be held every year in Cologne, Germany and represents the European version of E3 except many more people and the community is invited along with the press.
The first year for GamesCom is expected to be a big event with an attendance of over 100,000 gaming fanatics and 13 major video game publishers. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is excited to be there with a first chance for our European community to get their hand on live multiplayer at the show.
Check out the live video feed of the show floor here: http://www.gamescom.electronic-arts....566276405.php3
With the show not open until the 19th, expect to see booth building up til next week.
We are also part of EA's press conference and will be releasing a new surprise during the press conference. Don't worry about getting tickets to Germany, just stay tuned to the Battlefield Blog and the official BC2 Twitter, @OfficialBFBC2, for the latest updates on Games Com including our press conference surprise!
