Grab your board!! Activision gives Tony Hawk: RIDE a ship date.

Tony Hawk: RIDE, with its innovative motion-sensing skateboard controller, will be available at North American retailers on November 17, 2009 and at retailers in the U.K. and Germany on November 20, 2009.

Tony Hawk: RIDE will be present at GamesCom in Cologne, Germany from August 19 to August 23

For me this smacks of just being a Gimmick. Skate really has taken the innovation forward without the need to expensive accessories.
