damm i was hoping to get this at the BEGINNING of summer..now i have to go back to school and not have time for BF2 oh well. at least theyre letting us know whats going on.

I don't understand ppl who "don't have time to play because of school". I always play just about as much as on summer.

cuz they're not the same quality of official maps? example: wake for 2142. a horrible map with graphical glitches, yet dice made the mistake of including it.

Believe it or not, legal complications. I remember hearing that community maps were often completed by multiple people, some of which are under the legal age to sign contracts.

So, you can't use their work without having a contract stating who owns what, in which case you have to use the under age member's parents.

Also, laws regarding contracts differ in countries. England, you have to be 18 to legally sign a contract yourself.

They won't release the boosters for free, hell they add one map to the game (a really lame one) and they act like they're doing something incredibly awesome for the community.

It's got to be about the no cd/dvd in the drive thing.

Maybe it is the announcement of a while new booster pack. I would pay 15 dollars for a new booster pack with 3 or 4 new maps and weapons.

I never thought of that! I've been using that damn program for ages, and never thought of actually using it for the games I own.
