    CoD:WaW Companion iPhone Application

Treyarch has announced a new iPhone application today for Call of Duty: World at War that allows the community to keep up to date with news as well as check their stats. Take a look:
[FL]http://images.totalgamingnetwork.com/images/CODWaWCompanion.png[/FL] Today, we’re happy to announce the launch of the Call of Duty: World at War Companion – the very first iPhone App created for a Call of Duty game ever!

The Companion will offer a variety of perks to the World at War player. First, it is a great way to keep up-to-date on the latest News, Blogs, and Tweets – all are now conveniently in the palm of your hand.

Those of you next-gen console players with linked Stats accounts on CoDWaW.com have the added functionality of tracking your stats, your friends’ stats, and the global leaderboards on-the-go. Whether you want to drill-down deep into the weapons’ kills statistics, or compare your progress against a friend on the site, the Call of Duty: World at War Companion is your greatest asset when away from home!

But wait, there’s more! Act within the next 30 minutes, and we’ll toss in this FREE iPhone ringtone of the smash-hit “The One”, featured in Shi No Numa, at no extra cost!

All joking aside, we hope iPhone users enjoy the new ringtone & Companion app. The app is absolutely FREE, just like the ringtone, and we hope you head to the App Store and check it out – be sure to leave some feedback and tell us what you think!

I hate when people refer to a four-year-old console as "next-gen."
It's last gen, or current gen at best. NOT NEXT GEN!!!
For the same reason TreyArch don't allow PC gamers to link their profiles to callofduty.com, this app is useless to us.

Next they'll come up with CoD mini fridges and microwaves.

It lets you watch quietly in frustration as the developer mocks you as a sub-standard customer unworthy of any consideration.

            Or nothing, that works too.

It's not as if PC gamers deserve much. So fickle it's annoying :p

Alex, what is the text at the bottom of your sig? It's displaying as a bunch of boxes like an unsupported font and it goes about two feet to the right, making the page all screwy.
