i believe the made the pc version 60 is because of how many of the first modern warfare were sold.

the know people are going to buy this game on the pc so their going to jack up the price to the 360 price point cause hey that extra 10 bucks with all the pc versions their going to sell is going to add up.

and theres no point on waiting for the price to go done cause it took forever for the first modern warfare to go down 10 bucks.

ill just probably get the game on newegg. the usally sell new games for 6 bucks cheaper than regular msrp and free shipping. Plus i dont have to pay tax :)

My excitement for this game just isn't there very much b/c I feel like it's going to be same crap over again. Kind of like how CoD:UO was amazing, then IW gave us CoD2 which was somewhat of a downgrade. Now, CoD:WW is great imo and here comes MW2 with the dumbed down RnG gameplay. I'm just seeing deja vu happening here. I almost feel like just getting a couple of other games this fall instead, and canceling my pre-order.

If they didn't add back the CoD, I was gonna do it, but I own every CoD on the PC and they just had to add that CoD back in...>_>

Theyre just games guys. Marketing/naming aside, you should focus on having fun! Dont forget why you got into games.

Heck, go pull out your game that got you started in online FPS and run around with it for a while.

If this game isn't for you or you dont want to give your money to "The Man" then dont, but dont let your love of the game die because of it

Well, I bought Metal gear Solid 4 because it said Metal Gear on it. But you'd expect good quality from respected developers like Konami.

I did respect IW once, but this is just a rip-off and it's obviously targeting the 10-16 year old group since they don't know how to deal with money. It's their parents money anyway...

All there doing with the $60 for the pc thing is adding in the costs of the map packs up front so they can "say" that they gave them to us for free.

They said they were going to release 2 DLC for MW2, so we're only paying $5 a piece whereas the console people are still paying $10 extra for each one? :laugh:

I'm telling you, the amount of money they make on DLCs is insane! This is going to become more and more prominent with all games. Look at the success of BF1943, cha-ching.
