As the title states, a number of reviews have now been published for Battlefield 1943 and they all come to a similar conclusion: the game is a success. 70% of console players are very easy to please lol

I'm ever the sceptic as always and believe that PC players, being the trampled over and urinated on by EA people we are, will be much harder to please with the continued Battlefield franchise. Will EA bother? Or simply abandon us in an ally like the cute kitten we once were that has all grown up and a bit harder to please?

Surly high standards are what drives the entire gaming industry on, not just PC or console. I'll be interested to see what the console players think of their BF2* once the dust settles. We all know ours started all happy glappy and ended in the sad deformed and unsuccessfully patched state it is now.

Third time destroyed on PC, third time right on console? If so they might be on the road back to the old EA we all loved and knew.

Perhaps I'm totally wrong, but then I wouldn't be saddened by that. I hope EA can prove me wrong.
