We Want to Hear Your Feedback!

Unfortunately, not all of us have consoles, even the most avid Battlefield fan (read "alex98uk" here!). However, that doesn't mean we don't want to hear about the game! If you've been lucky enough to get a copy of 1943, we want to hear your feedback, photos, gameplay videos and general rants and raves.

A lot of us can't play, but that doesn't mean we don't want to watch you play. Any high quality images can be submitted for picture of the day and should you be lucky enough, it may be printed for thousands to see. Also, any gameplay videos deemed good enough for the community will be published on the Total Battlefield front page giving you and your mates exposure to the world (and the chance to gloat to your clan mates!)

So, stop reading this post, get in game and capture us some thoughts and media.

Get on that battlefield soldiers!

I, too, is waiting for PC release. I hope that DICE would try something different in the future for this game. China Theater is still yet to be tried. How about some CNA vs IJA actions in Changsha, Shanghai and the Burma Road? People who played BF2 for too long probably already learned enough battlefield Chinese.

That picture you posted above looks awesome. Going to have to wait till tomorrow to get the game for the PS3 but as soon as I do I wll come back here and give my thoughts.

I despise fps games on the console, but I'm not going to buy this in Sept for PC. Maybe this would be worth buying for that cheap on my PS3 to just have a little fun with. Heck, cheaper than paying for two people to see a movie at the theater.

Verryy much worth the money and the download.

I don't have much to say because I've only gotten to sandbox after the tutorial, but from what I've seen it's awesome.

The graphics are superb, and the SOUND. Other than BC1 this has the best sound I have ever heard come out of a video game. Shooting a rifle sounds like you really have some authority on your shoulder, and explosions... it's pretty epic.

Flying is easy to get used to and pretty damn fun, and you can bring down whole entire buildings with explosives.

Now if they could fix the servers so I could actually play. =/

Wonder if they'll get the 43M kills before the PC version is released, and for that matter I guess, will it matter/count? Will the PC version have its own tally, or will Coral Sea be released for the PC from the get-go?

My current rig wouldn't appreciate me trying to run this game on it, but circumstances beyond my control may require me to get (build) a new PC sooner than I originally thought (was hoping it would hold out until BF3 was closer) and if that's the case I may end up getting the PC version of this after all. I guess if the console versions turn out to be pretty cool the PC version should be even better...right?

This is my feedback: The game is not available I can't find it anywhere on my Xbox to download / purchase whatever. That's horrible marketing if I can't even find the game in the first play to buy it!

I was happy to hear they scaled the size of the maps down for this as it would be boring with 12vs12 on the big 1942 maps.

However, from their FAQ page, wtf:

Q. How does the health and ammo system work?

A. You have unlimited ammo and regenerating health. When ammo runs out, it has a replenish timer that will regenerate ammo and health regenerates when you aren’t taking damage.

Is it that hard to go to a crate to get some ammo? :hmm:

going to a crate for ammo also lets you camp it and throw unlimited grenades, no? maybe that's why they took it out, this was also a big spam problem on 1942.

One tank blow into the hut, and the camper was gone. Now, camp anywhere and you can spam, yea! :yay:
