Griffin International today released a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming title, Bass Pro Shops: The Strike. Take a look:

By combining advanced gameplay with innovative motion-sensing fishing rod peripherals, Bass Pro Shops: The Strike literally puts the rod in players' hands in the most realistic fishing game to-date. Bass Pro Shops: The Strike will be available on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system by Microsoft®, Nintendo Wii™ and Games For Windows® in September 2009.

Bass Pro shops: The Strike is an interactive and exciting fishing game that brings the lake to player's living rooms through a variety of gameplay modes including Arcade mode and Bass Pro Shops Tournament mode. Additional mini games are sure to bring families together as they challenge each other with boat racing competitions and casting challenges. With an innovative motion-sensing fishing pole peripheral, Bass Pro Shops: The Strike is sure to have players casting and jigging in the comfort of their homes this September.

I went fishing IRL last weekend. I would try this if I had a Wii, but it seems a tad silly for the 360 and PC.
