Battlefield 2 Update 1.50 Beta 3 Releases Tomorrow

DICE and EA have announced today that the Battlefield 2 v1.50 patch BETA version 3 will be releasing tomorrow July 7th. This announcement was made via the OfficialBF2 twitter profile. You can see the announcement tweet below.

"Battlefield 2 Update 1.50 Beta 3 coming to an Internet near you Tuesday 7th July!!!"

Yea I appreciate that but I am not sure there is enough of an incentive to re-install Bf2 just for this patch. Not when there are some cool games coming out.

indeed, thats not something we see alot these days with any game developer.

i dont know if this is to make the pc gamers happy after the recent mindless consolefest, but at least they are doing it right.

No one seems to play beta2.
The new map was fun for a bit but got boring.
Wish they would have gave us some community maps.

Changes include a fix for the TV missile HUD that supposedly makes the crosshair easier to see on Dragon.

The new map is a sad state of gray fog on top of gray textures, a one star out of four.

No disrespect intended for the guy who slaved away making it but it's a poor map, maybe the 2142 version is better.

I'm interested in the changes made, especially the new and improved 'going insta-prone makes your weapon inaccurate', lets see how that affects the gameplay.

lol honestly, why are they even bothering at this point?

1943 releases the day after, and all of the people in BF2 are pubbers anyway, I don't think they're even aware that a new patch has been in development.

I appreciate the effort, but honestly, a 3rd beta version of a patch that was due out arguably at least a year ago. The way it's looking, we probably won't see the final 1.50 patch before Christmas.

Seems like Dice has a very hard time focusing in on one thing at a time, they get ADD and then get off track, which leads to patches like this being pushed back almost 2 years.
