Good news indeed. I think it was fairly obvious that this was eventually going to happen anyway. I still feel like a hyper loser anyway though lol.

I think he got it confused. He mentioned that it is not being released in the fiscal year. Neither is BC2.

I hope I'm wrong but it's not like a COO to slip up like that. Publisher COO's usually don't know the difference in names for products that studios are developing.

Not that COO's are dumb - its just that EA has a lot of studios that they publish for and I'm sure he remembers BF3 easier than BC2

Or maybe he's a BF2 fan and he wanted to stir the waters to show his support for the PC gamers (not)

I've been burned before, so I say, "Show me the goods" because I want a press release. Not a rumor. Of course they're working on Battlefield 3 -- we just don't want to wait until 2011 to get it.

It's all a bit confusing really, but if it is coming, I think that's just proof that Bad Company was sort of a side project for DICE, something a bit different. Every game studio wants to make something different and not clones of games after eachother (1942-2142 were all similar in style)
