Battlefield 1943 Coming Early July

Over the weekend it was reported by a member over on the EA UK forums that Battlefield 1943 will be released on June 25th. His proof? The ad on the back cover of German GamesTM Magazine. While there is no "official" release date set for BF1943, this is probably the closest estimate we can get.

Update: Gordon Van Dyke has responded to the thread over on the EA UK forums with the following message:

Too bad it isn't true. We are still waiting on 1st party confirmations for a date and it is looking more and more like very early July to be honest with you guys. And before you lalalala and moan, this is out of our control and we wait just like everyone else. Source

Yea, because its up for certification no one knows right now. I think the 25th will be very close. My personal guess is that it falls in somewhere around the 24th - 8th.

Yea, plenty of people still play. I think its a great game, but I really dislike the controls. Its not so much the buttons, but the feel and movement there's like no flow you know what I mean.

Getting the 360 for me was actually a 2 part thing. BFBC/GTA4 so it wasnt a total loss I mean I had some decent times in BC. I just cant stand controllers.

The end of the Iwo Jima trailer says $14.99, or 1200 MSPts.
