Modern Warfare 2 Story & Gameplay Interview

Game Trailers recently posted up a video interview from E3 09 with Infinity Ward Community Manager Robert Bowling aka FourZeroTwo. In the interview, Bowling discusses the variety of locations featured in Modern Warfare 2 as well as some upgrades that were made to the game engine. Very interesting!

What I thought was quite funny though is when he says, "So everything reacts the way you would expect them to in real life". Then you see two cars blow up with the exact same animations in an unrealistic fashion.

But of course this is COD, it's not ArmA or OPF. So I like it, I especially love the "Streaming" graphics, those allow for huge environments and objects don't just pop up in the distance.

Is it just me or are they using the same voice actor for soap as they did for Price?? they sound identical voice wise

I thought the same thing, and I believe we're correct. Kind of kills the illusion it's Soap when it's Price's voice. :hmm:

I didnt really find the voices similar at all. maybe its the tone soap uses and the tone I remember price using

not quite. While they are similar they have a slight difference in tone. may be the situation but i think its just you may have heard the accent.
