Continuing the trend of big announcements today at Microsoft's E3 press conference, Bungie representatives took to the stage to show off Halo 3: ODST. Here is what was confirmed:
Halo 3: ODST will be shipping this September. Luckily for Halo fanboys, this was not Bungie's only announcement today.
After being dropped from an aircraft, an ODST soldier is rocketed away from his path as an explosion sends him flying through the air. The soldier lands in a city known as "Numan Bossa", the events which take place here happen weeks before the start of Halo 3. The story so far is that you are a rookie soldier who has been separated from his team, needing to relocate them and get out of Numan Bossa.
