I think the machine guns on planes are going to have to be pretty powerful seems the planes have no missiles , BF2 jet machine guns are pretty powerful I just wonder if they will be more powerful than BF2 or less powerful

I do recall the good ole days of parachuting onto the enemy carrier, dropping landmines then scrambling for cover or alternately, the ex pack and a mass kill

You're either not a pilot or have never played it on 1942 - oh my god was it epic.

Strafing the swimming players after you sunk there ship was even more fun

never been good with the flying, so I stick to infrantry and ground vehicles.

I'm not sure what you're playing, but BF2 has plenty of epic dog fights. Play on something other than a pub server.

So once again DICE pulls away from the core values that made BF1942 pure awesome and makes a map unlockable by the number of kills the community has instead of maybe the number of maps won by either faction? Knowing DICE I am sure they don't think either the PC or Console communities are intelligent enough to find exploits to hurry the unlock along.

How about they just release the game with a death match mode and we can forget about capping flags or working together? Oh wait this is a dumbed down version of battlefield right DICE?

I am sorry DICE I forgot I am in the PC community and no longer relevant to the game industry....forget I said anything.

The map might be a fun diversion but it'll probably turn into a 24/7 scenario on many servers.

This mini-1942 needs eastern front WWII action.
