FUEL Named Biggest Console Game of All Time

Thanks to their game FUEL, Codemaster's can say that they hold the Guinness World Record for the biggest console game of all time. In the latest gamer's edition of the Guinness World Records 2009 it states, "The largest playable environment in a console game is 5,560 square miles and is featured in FUEL." A new trailer has been released to discuss some of the technical challenges and gameplay features in FUEL.

FUEL is scheduled for a June 2nd release on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

That does look cool, but I can't quite tell what the game is actually about?

This looks like epic stuff, but just how much of that world is worth visiting?

Nah, it's just a racing game, no special guns or anything like Road Rash... (although I don't think so, since they don't mention it anywhere, but looking at the gameplay it looks like it's just racing)

Even though it's got the biggest terrain for any console game ever, most of that is just flat/small inclines with a few bushes and trees every hundred metres... although there is a few cities you can race in... I wonder if you can run out of FUEL? >_>
