Heroes NOT Coming to PS3 or 360

There were some rumors going around the net earlier today that Battlefield Heroes was coming to PS3 and 360 in addition to the PC version. Thanks to BFH Executive Producer Ben Cousins, we have learned that these rumors are NOT true. Take a look:

Hello Heroes! Contrary to rumours spreading around the internet in the weekend we have no plans to release Battlefield Heroes on either PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.

Battlefield Heroes’ mixture of free download (funded by micro-transactions and advertising) and our extensive use of the web for social features means that Heroes is tailor-made for PC.

Not to worry, you don't need a super-computer to play Battlefield Heroes. You can find the minimum system specs here.

So to all the console players out there who were hoping to see BFH, it seems you're out of luck.

they should have had giving this to the consols instead of the pc. This game is waaaaaaaaaaaay beyond kiddy after hearing the gunshots for 5 min you gonna get crazy. If you have kids sure its a good game for them.

they should have had giving this to the consols instead of the pc. This game is waaaaaaaaaaaay beyond kiddy after hearing the gunshots for 5 min you gonna get crazy. If you have kids sure its a good game for them.

DICE might lose a lot of money on this project and EA doesn't need lose any more money in its current state.

They should have used the programing hours for Heroes and made PC BF:BC.

I would have given DICE and EA $$$ in a heartbeat.

They should have just put it out for the Wii, it would fit right in with their cartoon games. I can just see people hopping around on that pad to control the character. Yep, epic fail.

DICE said they learned from under estimating the console players, so are they saying they over estimated the PC players gaming maturity and gave us this toy to play with? This is what happens when big corperations come in and think they know what the consumers want. I will be amazed if they ever produce somthing BF2 caliber on the PC again.

No offence, but reading 90% of the responses in the BF2 section does not re-inforce the idea that PC gamers are mature. If anything, the console guys are more mature.

True to some extent, but I was referring to "gaming maturity", the complexity of a game that PC and console players will accept. This is what DICE was saying in this article:

I was looking at the min requirements, and I thought I read 512 MB for video card. Then I noticed I was looking at RAM, and realized that it only needed 64MB. lol.
