A number of new previews and videos have been posted recently around the web showing off maps from the upcoming Map Pack 2 release. Also included is a first look at the map Banzai. Check them out below:

Team Xbox
Banzai was the first map we played, and it was a cool demonstration that the map pack DLC wasn't something thrown together to make some quick, easy bucks. The main bridge is an obvious path toward the other team's starting spot-which makes it "sitting/walking/running duck" territory—but having the options to take the paths down through the water on either side of the bridge and the tunnels cut into the mountain made the Team Deathmatch we played a lot more active. You have to find the enemy to kill him; it's not likely that, at the starting gun, the two teams will run toward the center with each hoping to outlast the other side in the resulting clash. Sub Pens is easily the smallest of the three DLC maps. It's somewhat reminiscent of the underground Station map in Map Pack 1, in that this is a relatively narrow and almost claustrophobic level. It's also similar in that artillery is limited to certain portions of the map since most of the level is enclosed. This means that this is a supreme infantry map as it's a small warren of rooms and tight places, but the middle of the map does offer some long sight lines for long-range engagement. Read more...

Corrosion strikes me like some kind of weird, industrial water park. All those giant pipes that you can crawl through, all those openings in the pipes that let you shoot at those outside (and, in turn, get shot at). This map felt very cat-and-mouse; I felt I was always chasing someone who was constantly turning the corner on me. During the capture-the-flag session, the industrial nature of the setting offered lots of places to camp and wait for your prey. And yes, there was definitely camping going on (I'm looking at you, Andy). Read more...
