they have to increase the player count for PC. it would be a total waste of good game making if they didnt.

Meh, I don't care about the unlimited ammo or regenerating health. I think it would make each firefight fairer and more enjoyable. I have never been one of those people who takes great joy in teamwork, so for me, it's perfect :)

Well, even with unlimited ammo it shouldn't be too bad. You'd still have to reload after your clip. Not like they take it that far.

All weapons have ironsights, except for the submachine guns. They did this, because it was that way in 1942.

Shouldnt be too bad ? Listen to yourself, that game has no content, gameplay dumbed down to 0. Its not worth 15 Euro/dolars or whatever. Oh wait you can destroy buildings oh the joy ...

I still cant get around the art style of this game, it looks like BC mixed with BF:H on crack. It looks like two art styles mixed into one, and does neither well, the terrain looks good and somewhat photo realistic, but the characters and explosions look 'cartoonish' and it just looks wrong.

Why wouldn't they put ironsights on the SMGs? I can understand (to some degree) the Shotguns, if there are any, but the SMGs? Why wouldn't they just do all guns one way?? Just...why?!

All this is is their first test of a console to PC port, its going to suck majorly. I myself will most likely not get it, the graphics look weird, even the idea of regenerating health and or unlimited ammo makes me not want it, and the type of combat shown in the trailer seems way to console like than large scale PC battles.

Indeed. But if they're upping the player count and remove regenerating health/unlimited ammo, I'm gonna buy it.

Maybe if they decide to change some of the gameplay options (iron sights, map count, etc. - for the initial release, not in patches) I'll look into purchasing it. Still, if those aren't changed, I think I'd have more fun reinstalling 1942 and playing some DC.

it doesn't actually look good. it honestly looks a lot like bf1942 (which i suppose is not bad).

honestly i don't know what benefits this game gives us besides destructible environments and an incredibly dumbed down experience (to make it "easier" to get into the franchise as the marketing string holders say)

1943 aint a bad idea - but its not for gamers like the ones that visit this site.

you don't have to play you know. How can you be so negative without actually playing the game?

Anything is possible until we get to try it of course, but without a demo, making a judgment like that from a few short videos doesn't hold much weight.

Re: New BF 1943 Shows That Iwo Jima Never Looked So Good

Why are they so focussed to do everything historical inaccurate? They can atleast try, right??

I wish they had a bit of good feeling towards historical geeks like me.

Iwo Jima in 1943.. Facepalm. Forests on the island, no, just no, that island was totally shelled to dust regarding vegetation. I see no big bunker net works or anything like that, Iwo Jima was a big maze of bunkers, imagine what a fun level that could be! Wandering over a wasteland with craters and trenches and then hop in a large cave that ends up in a big maze of bunkers, close quarters combat at it's best. Sadly, no. Now I can go and whine about American equipment in 1943 and the Japanese SMG's but I wont since I want to go to bed.

I just keep asking myself, why do you try to change history so badly? Why not a tiny spark of accuraccy, that wont harm anyone..

Lost hope in this game totally now. If there was any hope.
