PSM3 Magazine Releases First Details of Modern Warfare 2

The latest Modern Warfare 2 Details were published in the latest issue of PSM3, a UK Based Gaming Magazine. Check it out:

- Swimming mode enabled.
- A 'Stealthy' Oil pipeline Scuba Mission will be included in campaign mode.
- A level will definetly be based in Rio De Janeiro.
- Siberian Level will feature in campaign mode.
- Vehicles (e.g. Trucks, Tanks etc.) will be introduced into the Modern Era.
- A 'Helicopter Based' Level will be featured.
- An Oil Tanker level will also be featured.
- Ken Lally (Wesker from Resident Evil 5) will be voice acting. Most likely as a Russian villain.

While most of this information could be figured out just by watching the recently released teaser trailer we do see some new information. If you are in the UK you can pickup PSM3.

What's funny is most of this stuff they're 'confirming' is things all of these 'nut heads' around forums were able to see from the very fast, flashing of multiple images in their very first teaser. :laugh:

oh yeah

Most of the stuff in that list seems to be SP/Campaign mode, so I'd take that with a grain of salt until we get more detailed, accurate info.

Yep, I smell cutscenes. Not that cutscenes aren't cool, but you don't generally get to play them.

Some of those are probably cut scenes. But remember back in COD4 that they did several vids/scenes where it was actual gameplay, but they used a free-cam to do the "outside" view. Quick example was the sniper missions the user played through...but from the vids, we could have easily also thought those were canned cut scenes.

I don't think we'll know for sure what's what until later on.

That's either a BF style map or it's a 'Death From Above' / Off/On The Rails Shooter.
