Ghostbusters Coming To PSP Sony To Publish Exclusively In PAL
Atari today confirmed the development and release of Ghostbusters: The Video Game for the Playstation Portable sometime this Autumn, and along with Sony Europe has announced a co-publishing exclusive partnership in the PAL regions for the PS2 and PS3 versions.
Atari clarifies that they will still be publishing the game in North America on June 16th for all platforms (not including the PSP, which will be out in Autumn). There is no word yet on how long the Europe/PAL Sony exclusive publishing will last or who is developing the PSP version.
In an exclusive deal for Europe and the PAL regions, the PLAYSTATION 3 system and PlayStation 2 system versions will launch on June 19th 2009 published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. The launch coincides with the 25th anniversary of the original film’s theatrical release and the launch of the Blu-Ray of the classic first movie, benefiting from a worldwide launch and licensing campaign by Sony Pictures Consumer Products.
