CoD:WW Map Pack 2 Announced

That's right, CoD:WW will have another map pack coming out in June with once again, 3 new maps and 1 co-op zombie map, so 4 maps in total. Treyarch had said how they had plans to continue giving extra content to the CoD:WW community, and it looks like they may be keeping to their promise. Read below for the official announcement:

Considering the phenomenal support that the community has thrown behind Map Pack 1 and the demands that they’ve made for additional content, we’ve decided a 2nd Map Pack is in order! Today, we’re happy to bring you the first details of our next DLC.

Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 2 expands the addictive CoD multiplayer experience with three new multiplayer maps and one new co-op/Zombie map. Battle to control the river bridge in “Banzai” - a bright jungle map featuring a waterfall and hidden caves. In “Corrosion” face down your enemy in a shattered train yard, and in “Sub Pens” wipe the monsoon rain from your eyes as you struggle over a bombed-out submarine base. The Zombies make a return in “Shi No Numa” (Zombie Swamp) featuring Perk machines, the deadly new Wunderwaffe DG-2, new Achievements / Trophies… and flaming Hell Hounds!

I really, really hope this is coming to the PC...really. I guess time will tell, and a future thank you to Treyarch for another map pack!

wow cant wait im sure it will be coming out on the pc as well. I doubt treyarch will do that to us !! lol anyways its gd news for me since i really didnt expect them to be releasing another map pack after the first one. But hey, since the first one went down so well, especially with console users den its really no real surprise that they are releasing another one

Treyarch said from the start that they were planning to support CODWW post-release with a fair amount of DLC. Even though it may not have arrived as soon as people want, it does seem like they are indeed putting in the effort.

I'd be shocked if it didn't come to PC. Off the top of my head, I think it was only about a 3-week wait for Map Pack 1 to arrive on PC after Consoles got it, so if this follows the same timeline, that's not bad at all. Especially when it's free.
